I changed my tail number & need a new Airworthiness Certificate & Operating Limitations (EX-AB) from the FSDO. A reliable source told me operating limitations have changed since 2006 & the "old" limitations will likely need to be re-written by the FSDO.

Does this sound right?

Does anyone have a recent copy of operating limitation (in last year) they would be willing to share? I give a "sanitized" copy to the FSDO to use as a pro forma?

Hopefully, to speed the process & not unnecessarily annoy them!

that is correct. they should have all the wording on the new limitations. they will take care of it for you.

Wording for current operating limitations for amateur-built aircraft can be found in FAA Order 8130.2G page 4-64.

Keep in mind that the inspector can add any additional limitations he/she feels are necessary in the interest of safety.
