What do you guys use and what do you like.
I've used AOPA's planner and was just messing around with the one on the EAA site. It (EAA Flightplanner) has some interesting features in the generation of a pdf "trip ticket" that it will generate for a fee.

If these aids have been useful to you, let me know.

Looking forward to your experiences.

I purchased the premium Aeroplanner for one month. That's the EAA flight planner. Maybe in a few years it will be good, but it's just not done yet. The trip tickets aren't very good and the flight plans are hard to change. I purchased Jeppesen's Flitestar at SnF this year. It is so much nicer than any other flight planner I've used. Very easy to use and well worth the money. If you make long cross country flights I think it's worth having good software.

I like the EAA flight planner. Its free w/Membership and its fairly easy to use. It does have a couple weird quirks that you have to get used to but its free. I mainly use it to flight plan and just print out my flight plan for ded reckoning. I just follow my own sectional instead of buying the PDF.
