Hello All,
My RV-7 kit came with a brass fuel selector with three source positions and one off. My install has that valve pretty well buried in a center console so I decided to run a flexible hose from that third port to a readily accessible location, cap it and label it 'purge.'
When it comes time to detach and clean the electric pump's fuel filter I switch to purge and use a little compressed air to empty the lines and filter body. Tidy way to break those connections inside the cockpit.
