Has anyone figured out a clever way to install a flap without another human helping? Hard to get help at my distant hangar. Thanks.

Flap install

Are you referring to drilling the flap hinge to wing flap brace?
If so, easy. Fat rivets. Check the wing page of my blog. All the way to the bottom for the flap install.
If you mean inserting the hinge pins in a flap, also can be done by one.

Yep

Just install them, letting them hang vertical like they are in a 90 degree position, then pull them up by the trailing edge, and use a 6 inch wide putty knife or similar to get the rolled LE started in under the skin and slide it across..did mine many times. In fact, I assembled everything alone including the wing installs .I did much of my work in late evening hours and had no choice. When your flap LE is tucked in, you will need to have some duct tape handy to tape it in position while you connect the rod end.
