I found a non pre-punched kit with the wings and tail feathers built. I believe it was made the year before the pre-punched kits came out. My question is how much work do the pre-punched kits save? Are there other disadvantages? Should I avoid this kit at any price?

The -6 kits never had a pre-punched fuselage, so if the wings are already built.... go for it if the price is right...
