Just wondering what the big difference is between quality automotive oil and aviation oil? I'm sure there are many high performance vehicles burning typical Penzoil, etc. Instead of buying expensive aviation oil wouldn't it make sense to buy automotive oil for our experimentals and just change it twice as often?
I'm interested in some insights!

This can of worms has been opened and swallowed many times on the list. I would suggest a search on "Automotive Oil" and you'll get hours of reading pleasure.
