On page 46-14, step 4, my instructions read:

"Check that the Rotax 456180 oil pressure sensor is selected in your EFIS."

In my Skyview, the oil pressure sensor is set to "Rotax Sensor (Honeywell)" (or something like that) by default, and the 456180 part number is not on the drop-down sensor list anywhere.

Do I accept the default, one of the others on the list, or do I need to somehow upload new sensor data?

Oil Pressure Sensor

My Honeywell sensor failed last week (at 15 hours) which got me to researching the oil pressure threads, talking to Lockwood, LEAF and Dynon.

My understanding from a conversation with tech support at Dynon is that the Honeywell sensor was replaced on engines since June 2012 with part number 456180 and that the output from 456180 is the same as from the Honeywell. The info is in Rotax SI 912 020 R6 Section 79.

I have the 456180 sensor on order and plan to install it using the Honeywell settings in my Skyview. So I think the default Honeywell setting would be the one for you to use.
