I want to make new hoses to/from the oil cooler. I never liked the way the originals were routed and some changes I made to the way the oil cooler is mounted is putting a lot of stress on one of the fittings.

I looked in Wicks and Aircraft Spruce and Vans to see what hose types (models?) are available and came away confused. I've seen 303, 666, 156, and 701 listed in different places. Vans lists Aeroquip 701 hose and fittings but what have the people on the forum used successfully, and what do you recommend?

I generally go with whatever Vans uses and feel I can't go wrong with 701, but maybe there is something better?

Merry Christmas,

Hose Recommendation

The 601/701 hose is probably the best overall compromise for performance and flexibility. The flexibility is especially important due to the small confines of the RV FWF. Since your rerouting this will work nicely for you...
