Hello,

Looks like Kelly, Tempest, and Champion all make -108 filters for my O-320- D1A. Any opinions which is best? Best place to buy them?

I use Kelly

I used to use Champion...switched to Kelly a couple of years ago and haven't looked back. Here are some photos comparing the two:

The Kelly filter element doesn't have as many pleats as the Champion. It's definitely not as "nice" as the Champion. Do I think it makes a bit of difference? Not in my case. I change oil & filter frequently enough that I don't think it matters. As I said, I use Kelly.

It sure looks like it, the way the flash reflects off the oil, but there wasn't any metal in there.
