zilik VAF Moderator Jun 8, 2008 #2 Snug Tighten till snug and then safety wire. It's plastic so don't tighten to much or you'll strip the threads.

hgerhardt Well Known Member Jun 8, 2008 #3 ...And the gasket will shrink for the first few weeks. I've had to retorque mine three times now in the first 12 hours after OH. FWIW, this gasket was supplied in an ECI gasket set, so a genuine Lyc one may be more stable. Maybe. Heinrich Gerhardt
