I am the point of fabricating the baffles for my 8 equiped with a YIO-360-M1B. As there are many that have done this before they know there is not much in the way of detail on where to place the oil cooler on the aft baffle to the number 4 cylinder. I am going with the stock Van's setup and engine purchased through Van's...all that said what is good distance from the bottom bend in the baffle to the opening which needs to be cut for the oil cooler?

You will have to put is as low as possible to clear the cowl. I also built a 3/4"offset" to get the cooler away from the #4 cylinder.
