Can someone point a pic out of the oil cooler mounted on firewall of RV8 using the RV10 oil cooler mount. Curious of the routing of the 4" tube. Does it go outside of engine mount typically?
Used the RV-10 firewall mount and a Niagara 20006A 13 row cooler on my RV-8. 3 1/2" scat off cyl 3 baffle to a 3 1/2' to 4" DIY transition/elbow to a 4" B-fly on top of the cooler mount. May have been able to get a 4" elbow thru the engine mount & use 4" scat but clearance would be less. Summer & winter cooling has been great.

I'm installing the same oil cooler and mount on my 8. I don't have an engine yet and would like to match drill the mount to the firewall, but I am concerned about prop gov clearance. Do you have any pics you could share?
