Hello, we are in the final stages of the build and installed lower cowl with oil cooler in place. How close is the cooler to the muffler and the oil lines almost touch the exhaust pipes. Is this common or do I have a oil line in the wrong position. Thanks, Don
Pictures would help because various lines can go every which way on different installs. Give specifics as to engine type, airframe, etc and again, pictures...
Sounds normal, things are pretty tight in that area. I was a bit concerned about that during the build, but at the condition inspection after 75 hours there was no evidence of heat damage.
