The Odyssey battery I bought from Van's come with two brass angles and stainless hardware to make the wire connections. I have seen other Odyssey batteries with big honking looking terminal posts. Anyone know if there is an advantage one way or the other, did you use the brass angles or just run a bolt through the ring terminals right into the threaded batter post hole? Thanks for any info.

I just put a metric bolt through the battery cable end and screw it to the battery Mike - direct connection, no extra hardware.

I drilled and tapped the post for "real" hardware and bolted the ring terminals directly. Has worked fine for several years now.
