I keep getting a Voltage Message on my Skyview System. I have a ODYSSEY EXTREME DRY CELL BATTERY installed. The voltage meter in the system shows the battery going over 16v very often. Is this level an issue?

That's not a battery problem - it's an alternator regulator problem - and it's serious.

More likely a voltage regulator problem on a RV 12. Many issues discussed on this forum

Could be a wiring problem (if you did wire it, yourself): my MGL's voltage sensor can be put on many places, providing different voltages every time ;-(

Voltages higher than 15.0 volts will cause irreversible damage to the battery. See pg. 10 in Odyssey Battery Tech Manual….. https://www.odysseybattery.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/odyssey-battery-technical-manual.pdf

I believe high voltage opens the internal vent seals...
