Does anyone know if the O-235-L2C stock Cessna 152 exhaust will fit under the -9a cowl? I can buy one at a good price and like the idea of having a muffler. RVs must be pretty loud with straight pipes?

Naaah..they're not very loud at all, especialy wearing a good set of ANR equipped headsets.

It has been some time since I have a seen a C-152 w/o its cowl but I don't think the Cessna exhaust will work in an RV. IIRC, the Cessna exhaust hangs below the engine and in the RV, is there is no room below the engine.

Besides, you are building a new plane, why install an old exhaust?
