I'm New Here
Well we moved recently and I can't find the chuck key for my Nova 4000 rpm air drill. I tried a Ryobi universal key from Home Depot but the pilot hole part is too big. Does anyone know where I can get one?

You can buy chuck keys in different sizes from pretty much any tool store. Even wal-mart.

Step one would be to figure out the size of the pilot hole on the chuck.

Thanks guys. I guess this might not have been the best forum for this question.
I'll try my local Ace Hardware etc. before going the online route.
the pilot hole looks to be 1/8" so its probably out of the ordinary enough that few stores would stock it.

No problem re the forum- ask away. I just know that when I misplaced my last chuck key I got a replacement at one of the big box stores, but I don't remember which one.

Ace Hardware had one that works perfectly...

Jacobs Chuck Key part # 30826.
1/4" chuck key with 5/32 pilot.
