I am currently mounting my tires on the wheels and I don't see any "red" dot noting the light side of the nose tire.

There is a stamp with a 5 sided shape with a 66 or 99 marked within but I don't know what it means. I can't find any reference doing a web search.

In addition the nose tire has some color bands on the tread on only one side of the tire. Any idea what these color bands are?

Any help would be appreciated.

The "South" side of the wheel would be the one opposite the "North" side. Or the starboard side if facing east.
Sorry, Couldn't resist.

Mel is right. Where I got confused on my last tire change is that I'm in a different hangar, so north and south moved. Also, make sure you don't balance it near a mountain, as they affect the gravitation vector. :D
