I just received my new fork and wheel pant brackets from Vans. Even before receiving them, I got to wondering whether the 1" access hole I previously drilled in my nose wheel pant to align with the valve stem of the tire will still be aligned after the new fork has been installed. Does the new fork place the axle in the exact same proximity within the wheel fairing, so those of us who have drilled those holes in our fairing for checking tire pressure don't end up with a useless hole to deal with? I'm thinking that in order for the fairing to fit properly, it has to be such but then I'd like to hear from someone who's already done the S.B. with a valve stem access hole in their fairing.

Thanks

My nose wheel pants are in the same position on the
new fork. The mounting spots are the same.
I have a hole for the valve stem and it works fine.
