unfortunately the look of the spinner on the video is probably going to differ from the way it looks visually. Since the eye integrates much longer than the cameras sensor, it tends to blur the spinner strobe effect a bit more.

I painted mine 1/3 white 2/3 red, Depending on the speed you can tell that there is "something" going on. Its just not as obvious as the videos sometimes make it seem.

Did you paint it 1/3 solid white and 2/3 solid red, or did you use some pattern that ended up being 1/3 white and 2/3 red? Any photos? My spinner is off my plane now and it would be an ideal time to paint. Do you think black and white would be effective?
