From time to time, people who are building RVs ask my why I'm not moving faster on the project. And people who have families and don't fly RVs (or any other plane) will ask me why I spend so much time working on an airplane.

The answer, of course, is somewhere in between the two... a balance... a perspective.

Though this has nothing to do with RVs per se, I wanted to pass along a piece I wrote -- which -- oddly enough, Gather (that's My Space for adults) is featuring on the front page until 7 a.m. tomorrow, but which is available here anytime.

It's part of a series of essays I've been working on that look at how fathers balance the various elements of their lives. My RV-specific one isn't done yet. Just like the plane.

Good read

You're a lucky man, Bob Collins. Then again, maybe it wasn't all luck. Anyway, thanks for sharing that.

Wow Bob - I didn't realize you did work for public radio. Good deeds indeed. Thanks!
