I recently received an email from NOAA reminding me to renew my ELT registration in the next 60 days to insure all contact info is current. This was helpful as I was not waking up every morning thinking about this. I promptly responded only to see my new renewal date will be two years from now rather than two years from mid-April. No big deal as there is no cost and the form is simple, but it would have been better to wait until closer to the expiration date.
