Hi folks,

I have two comms, a Garmin 300 GPS with comm and a KX-165. I have a PS-engineering 6000 audio panel. I have good sidetone on the intercom, but no sidetone from either radio when transmitting. Same from pilot PTT and from co-pilot PTT. The tower seems to hear me fine.

Can anyone give me some hints on where I might start checking things? I hate flying without sidetone, and especially would like to have it on the first flight.

There should be a setting in the radios to adjust the side tones, try adjusting it and see if it makes a difference. Look in the owners or installation manuals.
