Does anyone know the center to center spacing of the main gear on an RV6 (when loaded)? I'm not seeing it in the archives under any search I've tried...
I saw this on a document just yesterday but damned if I can find it again for you today. What I can tell you from experience is that its almost exctly the same as a Cessna 180. I had to put an RV-6 into a farm shed one time and the wheels rolled into the same channels in the dirt that had been left by the owners old C180. I was very surprised... I'd have sworn the RV was narrower. If it is narrower its not by much.
