Some may call it making a aircraft, but I call it making memories. It was my sons 13th birthday this week so we pulled him from school and drove down to Vans and picked up our wing and fuselage kits. We walked into the front lobby of Vans and Joe Blank jumped to the counter to help us. His first words to us was if that was my little helper which just made my son glow and he piped up with a yes I am. Thank you Joe and all of the wonderful folks at Vans. My build has a common theme in each step, which is remember to build a wonderful aircraft but more importantly build life long memories with those around you.
