At our airport last weekend our chapter had Young Eagles. I was out of town so I didnt get to participate but somehow my plane got into the story. My hangar mates 14 is shown at about :55 and my 9 is on at about 1:00. I guess that makes me famous!

Nice coverage and thanks for your participation. Young Eagles is a fun program. I'm a member of two different EAA chapters and do Young Eagles flights for both. At our most recent event, 5 of us flew 87 kids and the other chapter (20 miles away) has 72 signed up for the next event. I put three hours on the tach that day and had a blast. I have the only RV in either club (in fact, the only Experimental airplane) and in a field of Cessnas, Pipers, and an old Bonanza, my RV gets a lot of interest from both kids and parents. The downside is that I can only take one at a time. I'd encourage any EAA member to volunteer for this even if given the chance.
