I'm just starting the emp part of the project and I've got a question. I'm leaning toward complete manual trim in my aircraft. I've flown planes with manual and electric trim and I find the manual trim to be "easier" to dial in quickly.

My question is, is there any problem with manual trim in an RV when installing a dual axis autopilot?

You'll be fine with either... no impact with most autopilots.. you may have to re-trim yourself though (no automation)... but a/p will/can tell you when to do so...

Radomir is right, no difference. Unless you are really looking for lower workload. Some of the AP's will automatically adjust your trim settings. I know Trio offers that.
