Hi All,

New RV6A owner and installing EFIS and replacing some instruments. My question is , the pitot line is soft aluminum (1/4?). I need to either tee into that with nylon/plastic tube to connect to EFIS or tie into nylon-plastic and replace all remaining gauges with the nylon line. I currently have all plastic for altimeter, vsi but the airspeed is aluminum. Can U use the Poly-flo tees or a union to soft aluminum? Looking to order the parts but not sure of sizes or what types. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you truly have a 1/4 aluminum, you can use any 1/4 to 1/4 QD connector. If you have 3/16 aluminum, stein sells the linked adapter to make it all work. You'll have to take a set of calipers to your aluminum line to determine what was used by the builder.
