Mark Tisler, P-51 Guru of Tri-State Aviation finished his Beautiful RV-8 and I did the honors yesterday in Wahpeton ND. 0-360 w/CS and a Navy paint job. It flew straight as a string, one little oil leak on the first flight. A chase plane is a good idea.... I flew it 2 hours without any further issues, it runs cool and fast. Very efficient induction system... At 30.25" baro it would maintain 24" MP & 172 KTAS at 7000 ft.
