The Sun n Fun Lycoming engine special states it includes "long term storage". Was wondering how long is long term storage? Months, Years?

It's longer than short term storage. Why don't you ask them? I believe long term is anything over 60 days.

Best to have desiccant "spark plugs" if you are going to store it for a while. Check with Lycoming about it staying in the plastic wrap and whether it should be completely filled with oil at some point.

A lot written on this subject,so do a search.My plan Harbor Freight engine stand,coupon from Road&Track(car mags get the best coupon deals) fill the engine with preservative oil,fog the cylinders add the descant plugs mount it horizontal on the stand and rotate it every month.Should stay real nice for a year or two.
