I have been lurking on the forum for a little while, researching, looking at the preview plans, etc. I decided it was time! Last week and ordered my tools,the practice kits and spent part of the holiday weekend getting my shop space(garage) together.
The only part of my research that is lacking is any time in an RV8. I went to an EAA fly in a few weeks ago but weather kept everyone away. I did get to sit in an 8 and I was very happy with the leg room, the head room was tight, but the owner had a fairly thick cushion. If you(or someone you know of) has an 8 in the vicinity of LMO I would be more than happy to buy the gas to see how it flies!
