Just saw a post on the AFS support forum site where the poster asked about using the EFIS to control a stransponder.

Any chance the EFIS will eventually be able to control a remote Trig transponder?

Trig will not release the interface , we will have a better solution at Oshkosh.

Sounds like a new option/tool coming soon!!

YEAH! Perhaps remote radios too! I told Rob that was on my wishlist a long time ago. VFR only RV-4 with limited panel space ==> AF-5600 with all the options, remote transponder and radios, 2.5" backup RPM and Airspeed... clean, light, simple, yet everything you need for VFR. Sounds like a good package for a -12 too!
