Does anyone have a copy of Unison Service Letter SL2-93 or know where I can find it? I have sent an e-mail to a Mr Ben Taylor at the literature department at Unison and am waiting for a response. I currently have an O-320-E2G that I am converting for use on my 9A and one of the things I would like to do is install two Slick 4371 mags with impulse couplings and I believe this letter has information specifically relating to this mod. One of the main reasons I am doing this is I have two very low time 4371 mags available to me where as I would need to acquire a slick 4370 with the drive gear if I were to keep it original. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Is there anything specific to that engine that's not common to most? On most engines, all you'd do is change studs to longer ones.. that's it.. pretty simple "conversion" :)

..and add a spacer...

The new studs are -

part # 31C-19 STUD, 5/16-18 x 2-3/8 long

Per this Lycoming SI, the change is even applicable to certified -E2Gs

Information Slick Conversion to Dual Impulse Coupling

Hear is information I received from Champion Aero who now owns Slick. I know I don't need to do this mod but the two 4371 mags and spacers came with the engine. I also had to install a new sump and intake tubes because the carb location on an E2G is to far back for a nose dragger like mine so I needed to move the carb forward. Here are the links: Thanks for the replies.

I need to find out how to post a pdf file on the forum. The links I used would not work
