My appologies before hand for barging in like this but, any body out
there with an RV4 with a IO-360 200 hp under the cowl, spining a Hartzell CS prop. I need to know how someone els has corrected the defference of aprox. 30-40 lb. between the actual and Van's recomended waight and balance. Can the C.G. Nose heavy problem be corrected by securing 30-40 lbs. of lead bars in the tail section? Are there any other problem I may be faced with for my experimentation? That's besides not being able to fit engine and exaust pipes under the cowl and the posibility of becoming the ultimate ground splater.
