I've got a pending purchase on a barely started plane (tail and wings). The seller is in the Richmond, Virginia area (Midlothian) and I'm in Dallas.
Rather than flying out there to inspect the very limited work the seller has done, I'd like to hire an EAA Technical Advisor or DAR to go out and take a look for me. From what I understand, nothing has been done other than priming and deburring, and some of the nutplates on the spar - nothing is assembled to the point of being invisible. I'm mostly concerned that the countersinking and riveting in the spar was done properly.

Also - if anyone can tell me what I should expect to pay for this service, please email or PM me. I have no idea and while I don't mind paying a fair rate, I don't wanna get dinged!
