I'm looking for a good book(s) covering the working of sheet metal. I'm not looking for anything aircraft-specific (I have Jeppesen's Aircraft Sheet Metal book), but something more general. I'd like to learn more about rolling, forming, bending, and welding sheet steel and aluminum, including coverage of the various tools used to perform those tasks.

Any suggestions?

The EAA used to have books on most all building aspects, ie: welding, sheet metal, woodwork, etc. I used to have several but they have been lost over the years with many moves.

I'll second Ron Fournier

...A great general reference, especially if you ever wanted to try your hand at more advanced fabrication. But, IIRC, not much info on riveted strutctures.

Might also want to browse Amazon in the automotive section, there are some pretty nice books geared for the hot rod/custom crowd about custom sheet metal work. May not be totaly applicable to aircraft, but the use of brakes, forms, planishing hammers, english wheels, welding, brazing, etc should transfer over.
