Drilled the quarter inch hole for the bolt connecting the brace to the roll bar and much to my disgust it went badly and turned out real crooked. Edge clearance is ok but it certainly is an eyesore. Any suggestions?

Simply fabricate 2 square tapered shims with a .250 hole drilled in the middle. One shim is to be placed under the head of the bolt, the other on the threaded side. Naturally, a longer bolt must be used now.

...Maybe possible to drill (ream) the hole out a little oversize (your choice) and use a bushing with the original diameter and length of bolt?
