Have I missed something? I logged on to Garmin to update my 496 DB and saw the price was $49. The last time I logged on it was $35.

Right after OSH

If I remember correctly, I passed up the $35 upgrades at OSH last year because I had just updated all my databases and when I did the next cycle they were at $49.
They just make you hate them, but I do love their products.
The proverbial rock and a hard place.

Just updated my Lowrance 2000C this week with Jeppesen Americas Aviation Database Update it was still $35.00. I usually update it every year.
