Well, my left wingtip is done and permanently (hopefully) mounted. That said, I'm not thrilled with the fit of the nav light lens, especially in the outboard corner.

The curve of the lens is just not a good match (or any kind of match) with the curve of the wingtip. Are guys using flox to build up the fiberglass to meet the plexiglass? I'm tired of messing with it and not sure what else to do with it other than leave it to tweak later on.

Lots of other tasks to work on, so it's not as though I'm bored.

By "re-faired" do you mean that you built up the fiberglass to meet the plexiglass?

Yep. I smeared micro over the assembly and sanded until I had a proper transition.

Gotcha. Guess I'll save it for the next time I mix up a batch - probably when doing the empennage fairings.
