In the thread on Air Filter effect on air speed Christopher Zavatson provided excelent information and a link to his website. I worked back through his home page to a link to a copy of NASA Contractor Report 3405 published in 1981, entitled "An Experimental Investigation of the Aerodynamics and Cooling of a Horizontally-Opposed Air-Cooled Aircraft Engine Installation". It is a 152 page PDF file and it appears to be a very good report for people concerned with cooling drag. Anyway I tried to print it and the process failed at around 40 pages. Well the information was looking so good that I cut back to printing 10 pages at a time. This worked up to a point and eventually I was down to one page at a time. After page 136 all I got were blank pages out of the printer even though I could view the pages on the screen. Not willing to give up on this document I went through http://www.nasa.gov until I reached http://www.aerospace.nasa.gov and clicked on "NACA Report Archive" in that window. In the next window I entered the full document title "An Experimental Investigation of the Aerodynamics and Cooling of a Horizontally-Opposed Air-Cooled Aircraft Engine Installation" and received a list of 10 documents. The second one was NASA CR 3405. From this source It prints very well.
