On March 28, 2009, N514SV became an airplane, and I became a test pilot.
Everything went well, all numbers in the green.
Power is from a Mattituck TMX IO-360, one mag and one lightspeed EI. It has a Garmin 530W and a Trutrak AP-10.
The Sam James cowl and the plenum kept the highest CHT on climbout well below 380.
I would like to thank all those who helped and provided assistance, from Tom Emery to Bill Flaherty and all those here on vansairforce who answered some of my questions over the last 2 years.
And now....here's my RV grin!

Very nice

And welcome to the growing fleet of 7a's with Jame's cowls...Look good don't they?

Congratulations!

Giovanni,

Great to see that you are finally in the air. Must have been killing you to wait for the final inspection and paperwork. Hope to see you again soon and take a good look at your great airplane.

Way to go, Geo !!! Looking forward to meeting you and seeing your aeroplane at an Ohio Valley RVators U.F.O. ( Ultimate Fly Out )
