The new restaurant on the field at KMIE (Kacy J's, www.kacyjs.com) is pretty good. The food was tasty, the service was very good, there's plenty of parking on the ramp, and the tower is friendly. The owner met us at the door and took some time to chat with us.

Nice write-up, enjoyed the pics too, especially the Stearman (one of my "must have" as well). Nothing like some high quality aviation time with dad!
