Today's front page has a list from Van's page showing number of RV models flown to date. Always cool to see but does it bug anyone else that the -A and non-A models continue to be lumped together? They are certainly different, just ask the insurance companies or anyone looking to buy a used one!

incomplete comparison of certified a/c production #s

Would be interesting to see the model progression of completions through the years Vans has been operating.

Just for interest, I pulled this off Wiki for certified GA aircraft (had to throw 737 in there for fun) with production numbers at or less than Vans completions - definitely an incomplete listing!
Mooney M-20 -11000+
Pacer --------- 10610
737 ----------- 10550+
Super Cub --- 10220
Champion ---- 10000+
C-210 ---------- 9240
Beech 18 ------ 9000+
C-206. -------- 8509?
PA-32 --------- 7842
C-120 & 140 -- 7664
Tiger Moth ---- 7104
Beech Baron -- 6884
C-180 --------- 6193
C-310 --------- 5737
Ercoupe ------- 5685
Taylorcraft (all) -5659
SR-22 --------- 5503
Stinson 108 --- 5260
C-170 ---------- 5174

Todays Vans count 10816 (not insignificant for sure!)
- all off your production runs (& staff) of 1

& there are as many RVs out there as there are 737s!
