Servo

Hi Dave, I can understand that the word plastic makes us think cheap or weak, I have used these servos on several RV's, Murphy Moose and an SX300 with 330 hp. I have never had a problem with the servo it's self. The T2-T3 servos have 40Lb of thrust, the T4 servo which is smaller has 30lb of thrust. They are plenty strong, if you have doubts about how Ray Allen tested the servos you should call them. I had a pin come out of an elevator servo clevis at cruise, yes it pitched up and I reduced power and landed safely. Went to Wall mart and got a new package of Hanes (I prefer the low cut) shorts. Comparing an RV10 to a highly modified P51 is apples and oranges. I worked on war birds doing sheet metal for several years.
The 10 is the best kit Van puts out, I have had the honor of helping with a couple of them and the trim system is a bit more than the other RV's and I haven't heard of any serious trouble with any, but as my wife will attest to, I don't know everything, she does. :)
Hope some of you big 10 guys have some input. Mike?
