my altimeter and airspeed indicator both have condensed moisture formed on the inside of the glass. They both appear to operate normally. I have no idea how the moisture got in there (thru the pitot-static system or thru the front) or how to clear it out. Do these instruments need to go into the shop for repair? Is it safe to fly with them for the time being?...I installed my pitot and static systems IAW the plans. Has anyone had a similar problem?...jacksel

I have seen this after several days of rain. (there is a dirt floor in my hanger)
Went away when the humidity went down for a few days. No damage in my case.

I've seen this in both automotive and aircraft gauges. A day or two in the sun, or a few days of low humididy and the condensation will go away.

Of course, it'll come back the next time you get high humidity followed by cool weather.

Nothing to worry about.
