Has anyone flown into either Moffett or Palo Alto? I am looking for the ability to park for a few days and get a rental car (Hertz). My client is next next to both of these airports and the cost to fly into and park at SJC is considerably higher. However, I cant really figure out if either of these are viable transient locations.

Palo Alto

You cannot land at Moffett. It is not a public airport. Palo Alto is reasonable, though I am not aware of rental cars. They have (or used to have) Hertz at San Carlos, and they do have ZipCars at SQL

Foreflight says that Enterprise is on the field (PAO). 650-843-4990. I never noticed an Enterprise office but that doesn't mean it's not there.

PAO has a good restaurant, Abundant Air. I go usually once a week since I work near there. The Tuscan Chicken sandwich is terrific!
