I had the ML Skunk Works standard rudder trim in my plane, but I recently ordered the new electric trim to replace it (http://www.mlblueskunk.com/Rudder_Trim_System.php). Installation was straightforward, Steve sent me a mounting bracket with no holes so I could match drill it to my existing mount. It includes the motor and a potentiometer for rudder trim display on your EFIS. I had two unused buttons on my stick grip so I ordered a relay board (http://www.aircraftextras.com/RelayBoard1.htm) and wired it up. I flew from Phoenix to San Diego last weekend after installing it and I'm very happy with it. The instructions say to hold the rudder pedals and then adjust the trim, but I found that the motor is capable of both holding trim adjustments and making them. Even with the trim maxed out it's still easy to move the pedals because of the springs. I have a static trim tab on my rudder, but that only trims it for certain speed/altitude combinations so having the electric trim means I don't ever have to keep my foot on the pedal for long flights. If anyone is looking to add rudder trim I highly recommend it.
