I have a few quarts of straight mineral left over from my engine break in period. Can I add a quart of straight mineral oil to 7 quarts of Aero Shell 100+ at the next oil change? Both oils are SAE 50.
 
Thanks. I will go ahead a get rid of the mineral oil by added it a quart at a time to the new 100+

I've seen this comment made previously in other VAF threads and I feel the need to comment.

Aeroshell 100+ contains Lycoming LW16702 additive. This is not Camguard, but is Lycoming's recommended anti scuff/ anti wear additive. Camguard is an aftermarket oil additive, and is NOT advertised to meet the requirements of LW16702 or recommended by Lycoming.
