I have an MGL stratomaster hooked up to an SL30. When I engage the VOR frequency and see it entered on the bottom of the MGL screen,l then go to F3 and change from GLS to VOR and then the CDI needle and the the asimuth ring disappear from the screen. Can anyone throw some light on what the problem is. I followed MGl directions for hook up and I can read the com and nav freq on the MGL screen. Don RV6

Not sure, but you might have to choose your NAV as the primary nav source. That's how the G2 does it.
