We have released our SP-10 Flap and Trim controller module.
This integrates neatly with an Odyssey/Vogager G2 and of course iEFIS Explorer and Challenger systems.
It provides muti-position electronic flap control and trim control (roll and pitch). All using common position sensors, flap and trim motors.
The SP-10 is very low cost and can operate independent from an EFIS as stand-alone system if desired.
Connected to a compatible EFIS it provides flap and trim position indication on the screen and also allows simple setup and programming from the EFIS as well as use if you are using an iEFIS. On iEFIS systems you can control flaps and trim using the touch screen or the buttons below the screen - all in addition to using external controls such as stick mounted buttons (popular for trim) and simple momentary push buttons or multi-position rotary or linear switches for flap control.
With MGL EFIS systems and MGL autopilot servos the SP-10 also provides force sensing trim (this means you can, for example, with AP engaged change power/speed and the SP-10 will retrim the aircraft by measuring the force on the stick !).
